Record breaking 4x300m team Herts Phoenix’s National Young Athletes Team travelled to Parliament Hill Fields on Sunday to compete in their final league match of the season. The team finished second behind Southend on the day and ended up in sixth place in the Division One East League. Full set of results now on this web site.

A trio of Herts Phoenix athletes travelled to Wales at the weekend to complete in the England Schools team against the other Home Countries of Wales, Scotland and Ireland and made a significant contribution to England's overwhelming victory. Full set of results now available on this web site.

A combined men’s and women’s Herts Phoenix team travelled to Copthall Barnet on Saturday for the semi-finals of the BAL Cup and produced a number of good performances against some very strong opposition. Results now available on this web site.

Lizi Brathwaite, making her international debut, snatched second place in the most dramatic manner on the final day of the European Under 23 Championships in Debrecen. Using all of her 800m sprinting speed, she caught the pre-race favourite, Tatyana Beltyukova of Russia in the last stride and a half.
