Once again there was a very good turnout of athletes for Herts Phoenix AC to compete in the second round of the Metropolitan Cross Country League. Despite the recent rain the ground was still quite firm and only a little muddy underfoot with the races being run on a bright sunny afternoon over the undulating course at Claybury, Woodford on Saturday 7th November.

Herts Phoenix senior men's team travelled to Nottinghamshire on Saturday 31st October to compete in the annual National Cross Country Relay Championships which were held in Berry Hill Park, Mansfield.

Herts Pnoenix under 17 men's team travelled to Sutton Park, Birmingham on Sunday to compete against the country's best youg road runners in the National Road Relay Championships which are the highlight of the Road Running calender.
