Some of Herts Phoenix brightest young stars were making their County debuts this weekend in the U13 Inter-County match at Kingston upon Thames.  They helped Hertfordshire girls to 2nd place and the boys to 12th out of 14 counties which was a fantastic achievement.

Exams over, school term finished, so holidays have started. This meant many athletes were not around for the Norwich leg of the National Junior League competition last Sunday.

The senior women and U15 girls of Herts Phoenix travelled to Radley AC in Abingdon for their penultimate match, knowing that only a win would keep them in with a chance of retaining the title they have won for the last two years in the final match at Colchester in three weeks time.

The young Athletes of Herts Phoenix travelled to Perivale in West London to take on the host club, Ealing, Southall and Middlesex AC , Worthing AC and Dartford AC on Sunday.  Lying 5th in the league they hoped for a good victory to cement their place near the top of the table.

Herts Phoenix Senior Women & Senior Men took part in the BAL Cup last Saturday at the Copthall Barnet Stadium. Unfortunately, with the Women finishing 4th and the Men 7th, neither team qualified for the final of the Cup to be held at Bedford on 6th September.
