Herts Phoenix womens team recorded their second successive win of the season in their home fixture at Stevenage on Saturday 28th June. In doing so, their points total enabled them to bridge the gap between themselves and the league leaders putting them in a strong position to challenge for the league title for the third year in succession.

Two Herts Phoenix athletes – Laura Wake of Presdales School and Millie Phelan of Broxbourne School competed for Hertfordshire this weekend of 28/29th June in the Schools Regional Combined Events championships at Reading. Laura competing in the Senior age group improved her Personal Best points total by some 300 points to come 3rd in this age category with a score of 4310 points. This performance qualifies her to compete in the English Schools Combined Events championships which take place at Birmingham in September.

The young athletes of Herts Phoenix AC did themselves and the Club proud when competing for their respective schools at the Hertfordshire Schools Championships at Woodside Stadium, Watford on Saturday.
