A large number of medals were won but for many it was not about winning the event but trying to ensure they get selected for The English Schools Championships being held in Birmingham this July.

Some have achieved the National Standard that should ensure they're selected, many others are on the entry standard and it's those athletes that will have the agonising wait to see if they have been selected.  It is believed that the Herts Schools Selectors will be meeting on Thursday night 14th June and the announcement can't come quickly enough for these athletes.
