The Herts Phoenix Senior Men's team travelled to Brighton on Saturday to compete in the third match of the season in optimistic mood with the return of Chris Saville to competition after a long break with a viral infection and Lee Reynolds making his first appearance this year. Both of them enjoyed success with Lee winning his 1500 metre race and taking second place in the 800 metres, and Chris winning his 1500 metre race.

 

There was excellent support from their team mates with more wins by Paul Greaves in the 5000 metres, Alec Wing in the 400m Hurdles, Bradley Amorgie in the High Jump and "B" string Long Jump, Leo Lungren in the "A" string Triple Jump well supported by a first place by Junior Lewis in the "B" string Triple Jump.
