The nine men who travelled to Hastings for the final match of the season put in some very good performances in covering most of the events but were only rewarded with fourth place.

This very disappointingly means that the team will be relegated to Division 3 for next season.
 
Despite knowing before the match started that the team would probably be demoted the individuals put in magnificent efforts and recorded several personal and season's best performances during the afternoon. Notable amongst them was Andrew Benson who tackled seven events plus a relay and recorded 5 pbs in the 400m Hurdles, 1500m, 5000m, 3000m steeplechase and hammer events.
