Alpha-Beta Trophy - Help needed with loss of silver salver |

In 2010, our Senior Women’s Team won this trophy, which is a silver salver about 40cm in diameter. We were supposed to return the trophy this year but we were not able to find it. Whilst not necessarily exceptionally valuable, the trophy has considerable historical value and is engraved with the names of the winners for the last 20+ years. In spite of our enquiries, we have not yet located this trophy. If by any chance you have it, or know who has it, or know where it is being kept, please let Sally Stevens or Adrian Newman or me know. If someone finds the trophy, to avoid possible embarrassment they can also return it in a suitably marked package to Richard Bloom via the Reception at Gosling Sports Park or Adrianm Newman via the Reception at Wodson Park. If we do not find the trophy, the Club will have to replace it. Richard Bloom - Chairman |

This is our home fixture and we need to provide officials to organise the race. I expect that Broxbourne Runners, our co-promoters, will provide most of the marshals, as they did last year, but we need to provide people to set out the course; man the car park; and organise the start/finish, including water etc. We may also need to provide a few marshals. Are you able to help? The race starts on Stanborough Green at 19:45 and should be over by 20:45. Refreshments are available in the Rugby Clubhouse after the race. |
