Two Herts Phoenix U15 girls competed in the Indoor Pentathlon at Lee Valley held on Sunday 25th March and came away with several PBs between them. Zoe Benton was competing as a first year U15 in her first pentathlon. She achieved a PB in the High Jump and the Shot Putt and was placed a creditable 18th out of the 25 girls competing on the day.  Laura Armorgie achieved PBs in 4 of the 5 events with 1.62m in the High Jump, 7.25m in the Shot, 4.73m in the Long Jump and 2:49.5 in the 800m to score a very impressive overall PB of 2736 points (195 points more than her 4th place in the South of England competition in January) to win the silver medal just 19 points behind the winner.
